ShowSeeker, creator of the US advertising industry’s most powerful, cloud-based order management system, today announced the appointment of Kevin Dang as its new Director of Research and Insights. In this pivotal role, Kevin will steer the company’s strategic initiatives around viewership data, focusing on measurement standardization and innovative commercialization strategies.
Kevin Dang brings more than 14 years of expertise in media research to ShowSeeker, having served in significant roles at prominent organizations, including BuzzFeed, Spectrum Reach, Comcast NBCUniversal, and Disney ABC Television Group. His skills in media measurement, consumer research, and strategic planning have propelled multiple successful product launches and helped shape effective data commercialization strategies across major media companies.
With an impressive track record in media research and strategic insights across TV, digital, and social, Kevin will utilize his expertise and connections to propel ShowSeeker’s advancements in viewership data innovation and productization. As the industry shifts towards more sophisticated measurement and monetization strategies, Kevin’s leadership will ensure ShowSeeker remains at the forefront of this transformation. From programming to research, from planning to performance reporting, ShowSeeker manages more than $11 Billion in proposals and more than $5 Billion in submitted orders.
To Kevin, ShowSeeker’s potential in linear and advanced advertising is especially exciting.
“ShowSeeker’s always been a trailblazer. But what resonated with me most was their mission towards breaking down advertising silos. Especially between linear and digital advertising,” said Kevin Dang, Director of Research and Insights at ShowSeeker. “As a platform-agnostic data professional, I’m a firm believer that the future of advertising data is finding common ground and unifying viewing behavior across screens. ShowSeeker is pioneering cross-platform advertising, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of that revolution.”
“Kevin’s extensive background in digital and linear research and his proven track record of developing high-performing teams and launching innovative products makes him the perfect leader to advance our research capabilities,” said Dave Hardy, CEO at ShowSeeker. “With Kevin at the helm, we expect to challenge industry expectations and unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation using the unique viewership data available at ShowSeeker.”
This news follows significant growth for ShowSeeker, including the recent appointment of industry veteran Joni Claerbout as its Vice President of Sales and Client Engagement and Marketing and Spectrum Reach adopting its end-to-end cloud-based order management system, Pilot®, across its entire advertising sales footprint – a move that gives ShowSeeker more than half of the transactions across the industry.
