Frontend Developer
As a part of the Engineering Team, this role contributes to the production of scalable advertising sales solutions. A successful Frontend Developer will have a passion for creating intuitive, responsive user interfaces, a strong eye for detail, and a desire to pioneer new frontiers in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop user interfaces for the platform using React frameworks
- Collaborate with UX designers to create a rich experience and execute pixel perfect interfaces from wireframes and prototypes
- Collaborate with peers on technical design, work estimation, and implementation
- Perform code peer reviews as part of everyday workflow
- Propose and execute on mini-research/prototype projects that introduce innovative solutions to new or existing problems
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building web applications with JavaScript and HTML
- 2+ year of experience building web applications with React and Redux
- Experience with CSS pre-processing frameworks, preferably Sass
- Experience with data structures and algorithms
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience with Ant Design
- Experience in writing solutions deployed to cloud (AWS, etc.)
- Experience with navigation or mapping libraries like Mapbox, Leaflet, or similar
- Comfort with rapid development cycles, tight schedules, and integration with product management
Candidate Qualities
- Understand the intricacies of DOM and have command over the APIs, including their performance implications
- Feel confident being hands-on from initial wireframes and prototyping to the final product
- Want to own the implementation of feature sets as a whole
- Respond quickly to changing business needs and roll out functionality in small increments
- Display expert level knowledge of core JavaScript, as well as experience with jQuery
- Be a self-starter who loves to innovate
- Have a passion for clean, simple design
